Moving Permit
Whether you are a citizen moving into the Township, or a Township resident moving out of the Township, a moving permit is required to be filled out and paid for.
The permit can be picked up at the Township Office and the cost to file the moving permit is $5.00. This is a simple form that asks for names of residents, address of current property and new property (one of which should be in Longswamp Township).
This form is used to update Township records to accurately reflect the current property owners information as far as residents and mailing address.
This form can either be paid for in cash or with a check made out to Longswamp Township, and must either be mailed or dropped off to the Township located at 1112 State Street, Mertztown, PA 19539.
