Longswamp Township Zoning Department
The Zoning Regulations for Longswamp Township as based on the State Laws for the management of land use in Pennsylvania, and generally specify the uses which are allowed in each zoning district of the Township. The ordinance provides regulations for the property location and construction of buildings and accessory structures on properties within the Township. Each landowner must contact the Township Zoning Officer before constructing any structure, in order to apply for the neccessary building permit(s). The Zoning Officer is responsible for assisting residents with permits, and for ensuring that the zoning regulations are adhered to.
