The Townships Sewage Management Program is governed by Township Ordinance 2006-238.

Some highlights of this Ordinance are stated below: 

• All sewer services are private across the Township, except for some properties on Woodside Avenue, Freehall Street and Sisco Lane. 
• The Sewage hauler is responsible for submitting the Record of Pumping to the Township, not the property owner. 
• Every property must be pumped out at least 1 time every 3 years. If a property owners decides it needs to be pumped more often than once every 3 years, the Ordinance allows it under any circumstance. 
• Each property is located in either Cycle 1, Cycle 2 or Cycle 3 which determines when property owners are required to pump. To find out which Cycle your property is located in, please visit the Cycle Map page. 
• If you are a Hauler, you must be registered to pump in Longswamp Township. To do this, please reach out to the office to find out how to go about registering in the Township.
