Parks & Fields
Longswamp Township is home to 2 wonderful parks, the Longswamp Township Community Park and Hunsicker's Grove.
Longswamp Township Community Park, located at 1112 State Street, Mertztown, PA 19539, is home to multiple baseball fields, a basketball court, a hockey rink, a tennis court, and 2 pavilions. It also boasts a new playground for the little ones and a nature trail through the woods. Both of the pavilions are able to rented through the Township Office.
Hunsicker's Grove, located at 9350 Longswamp Road, Mertztown, PA 19539, is home to an old stone quarry which is now filled with water and seasonally stocked with fish. There is also a nature trail around this park which can be walked or fished on, and also a dock. There is a sand volleyball court and a large grass field for any games. This park also houses 2 pavilions that can be rented through the Township Office, and the large one even has a kitchen!
